Content & sources
Know where the
information stands.
Study tools are more useful when their limits are clear. Here is the current content status of JRNS.
How the content was made
JRNS contains AI-assisted study content. Automated tests and AI review passes check parts of the app, but those checks are not a licensed clinician's review. No licensed nurse has reviewed the content. Review coverage varies; see the in-app sources page for details.
Citations and review dates
The app does not currently provide a complete citation trail for individual clinical claims. A general verification resource is not evidence that every entry was checked against that resource. JRNS does not label entries as clinically reviewed or assign review dates without an actual review.
Where to verify
These are verification resources identified in the app, not a claim that they reviewed or endorsed JRNS:
- Medication information: the current product label on DailyMed, your facility's formulary, and your pharmacist.
- Medication safety: ISMP and your facility's policy.
- Lab values: the reference ranges printed on the actual lab result.
- Procedures and clinical practice: your instructor, facility policies, and current applicable professional guidance.
How to use JRNS
Use it to supplement your nursing program. Study scores do not predict exam results. App check-offs do not establish clinical competency. Your instructor and current clinical guidance remain authoritative.
